Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) is seeking an AWS Data Lakehouse Engineer in Basildon, UK to design, build and optimize scalable data lakehouse platforms that support data-driven decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams to create resilient ingestion and transformation pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability across the ecosystem.

The role requires 7+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, and hands-on AWS experience (Lambda, S3, EMR, MWAA) with Iceberg/Delta patterns.

Qualifications

7 years of experience in a data engineering role in a fast-paced enterprise-scale environment.
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
Strong SQL and data integration/ETL tooling knowledge.
Extensive experience with AWS services: IAM, Lambda, EKS, S3, EMR, PySpark, MWAA, and Lakehouse tech.
Experience with Iceberg/Delta patterns and data governance.

Responsibilities

Design and implement lakehouse integration architectures including data and ELT/ETL patterns.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, processing and storage across data lake and lakehouse layers.
Uphold data governance, security, lineage and compliance best practices.
Monitor and optimize data workflows and storage for performance and reliability.
Provide production support with strong observability and proactive issue resolution.
Collaborate with platform analytics and engineering teams on data modeling and storage optimization.
