AWS Cloud Engineer required by advanced SaaS Fintech client within the B2B market and who are their growing corporate customer base.

Salary up to £65k with get togethers once a month in London.

They are currently preparing to scale an enterprise solution and need an Experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to implement improvements to infrastructure and help support delivery. Exposure to the following is required.

• Must have worked on database migration projects.
• Must have Kubernetes experience and be able to hand code Terraform
• Experience in migrating databases to AWS environment.
• Experience and working knowledge of migrating MySQL to Aurora projects. Experience in AWS solutions such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc.
• Experience in AWS Migration Tools like DMS, Babelfish etc.
• Experience in providing migration approach, plan, and best practices.
• Experience in building databases with high availability (HA) in AWS
• Experience in building DB backups and disaster recovery of the database with data integrity and security.
• Experience in performance management, tuning of the databases to remove bottlenecks and ensuring availability. Scalability techniques such as read replicas, caching.
• Knowledge of edge computing solutions like AWS Global Accelerator.
• Work with DevOps team to build and deploy the DB scripts in various environment.
• Knowledge of basic security techniques and AWS or equivalent Open Source tooling.
