A leading dementia support organisation in the UK is looking for volunteers to support local events and raise awareness about dementia. You will help publicise information and establish connections with local groups. Ideal candidates are friendly, have strong communication skills, and a passion for community support. This is a flexible volunteer role within your local area.
If you’d like to support your local community by helping to ensure that people who are worried about or affected by dementia are aware of the support and advice services we offer, we have just the role for you!
You’ll support local events, hold information stands, and display leaflets in a variety of venues and locations highly visible in your community, such as libraries and GP surgeries. You’ll make sure the information publicised in your community is up to date and accurate. You’ll also establish connections with local organisations and community groups to help achieve widespread awareness of the support we offer. As a representative of Alzheimer’s Society, we will provide you with branded clothing, and you may also have the opportunity to be included in event pictures to showcase the Society work in the local media.

Minimum age – 16 years old
This is a flexible volunteer role which is carried out within your local area and on various days and times to suit your availability.

Please note that all of our volunteering opportunities are based in the UK and you must be living in the UK to volunteer with us. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor visa applications but are grateful for your interest in supporting us.
