Awake Night Residential Support Worker - Full-Time

Location: Hoddesdon (EN11)

Salary: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-Time - Waking Night Shifts

Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care and support to children and young people during night hours
  • Ensure safety and wellbeing throughout the night
  • Support emotional needs and help maintain routines
  • Observe, record, and report any changes in behaviour, health, or emotional state
  • Assist with personal care if required
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in a residential children\'s home, supported living, or similar environment is preferred
  • Entry-level candidates with a genuine passion for helping young people are welcome
  • NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Please note: This position is not suitable for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
