Qualifications

Copello are looking for an experienced Avionics Technician with hands‑on experience working on fighter jet platforms to join a leading aerospace and defence organisation.

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, fault‑finding, testing, and repair of complex avionics systems — ensuring aircraft are mission‑ready and meet the highest operational and safety standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Carrying out maintenance, calibration, and repair of avionics and electronic systems.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying electrical or instrumentation faults.
  • Supporting flight line and scheduled maintenance on fighter aircraft.
  • Working closely with engineering teams to ensure systems integrity and airworthiness.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven experience working on fighter jet platforms (e.g. Typhoon, Tornado, F-35, Hawk, etc.).
  • Strong background in aircraft electronics, wiring, and systems integration.
  • NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC or equivalent in Avionics, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Active or eligible UK Security Clearance (SC)
