The role

As an Avionic Electrical Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a key role in supporting the production of Hawk TMk2 aircraft to meet daily flying requirements.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with BAE Systems standards
  • Manage On-the-Job training and SQEP documentation
  • Report, investigate, and act on failures and incidents appropriately
  • Provide cover for Flight-line/Docs Controller as required.

This role is full time working 36 hours per week and is based on site at RAF Valley, Wales.

Essential experience of the Avionic Electrical Supervisor:
  • Demonstrated ability to apply engineering knowledge and practical technical skills in real-world scenarios
  • Prior experience in an aviation environment, contributing to operational effectiveness
  • Proven track record in mentoring or delivering on-the-job training to support team development.
Qualifications for the Avionic Electrical Supervisor:
  • Proven experience as a technician in a relevant aviation engineering environment
  • Proficient in computer systems and digital tools
  • Qualified to City & Guilds 2675 Level 3 or equivalent, or NVQ Level 3 in Aircraft Maintenance.
