Job summary

Leeds Bradford Airport Limited is hiring an Aviation Security Officer for a part-time, 21-hour week. The role emphasizes delivering an excellent customer experience alongside security duties. You will rotate 4 days on, 4 days off, with early and late shifts during a 24-hour operation.

Training is fully paid, with modern security facilities and 3D screening technology. Fluency in English is essential, and candidates must meet UK residency and vetting requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Full colour vision and physically able to perform duties (sitting, standing, bending, walking).
• Customer Service Experience.
• Minimum age 18 due to security clearance requirements.
• Ability to pass Criminal Record Check, Counter Terrorism Check, and vetting requirements.
• Must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with a 5-year work or education history.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a calm, friendly, and efficient security process for passengers.
• Operate advanced screening equipment and support passengers through the security process.
• Guide passengers and collaborate with colleagues across the operation.
• Assist with the brand-new security area and contribute to a positive passenger experience.
