The Role

The Aviation Risk Manager will lead the design and delivery of aviation risk training, support client onboarding, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's products and methodologies. The role requires a strong blend of aviation security and safety expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training & Onboarding: Design, maintain, and deliver client training for aviation risk management and related products.
  • Methodology Workshops: Lead risk methodology sessions with clients and act as the focal point for risk‑related queries.
  • Airspace Risk Curriculum: Deliver and periodically update airspace risk and decision‑making content to reflect current threats and best practice.
  • SMS/SeMS Development: Support the evolution of safety and security management system functionality within the company's products in line with ICAO, IATA, and EASA standards.
  • Client Support: Partner with client success teams to resolve aviation security and risk queries with clarity and consistency.
  • Product Feedback: Translate client feedback into structured recommendations for product improvement.
  • Analysis Support: Contribute subject‑matter input to enhance the consistency and analytical value of aviation security and safety reporting.
  • Thought Leadership: Identify emerging risk themes and opportunities for new product features or capabilities.
The Person
Experience & Skills
  • Ideally with experience in aviation security and/or safety management within an airline, airport, or aviation service provider.
  • Practical exposure to operational and/or managerial roles.
  • Strong understanding of ICAO, IATA, EASA or relevant State regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training; formal trainer certification (ICAO/IATA) is advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of SMS/SeMS principles and implementation.
  • High IT literacy and confidence with software used in aviation risk or safety analysis.
