Job description
Aviation Project Management vacancy in Broughton (236DM)

The Enablement Lead will drive the program, implementing new ways of working and embedding best practices to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability across the clients production areas. This role will be responsible for leading enablement activities, managing tooling strategies, and ensuring compliance with key operational standards while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement within the team.

Key Deliverables
  • Lead Enablement – Drive the adoption of innovative processes and best practices identified both within and outside the company to support production rate increases.
  • Governance & Strategy – Develop and maintain an enablement governance framework to ensure long‑term planning, strategy execution, and coordination with the Plant Capex team for tool investment and replenishment.
  • Technology & Tooling Innovation – Identify, assess, and implement new tooling technologies and external solutions that contribute to the companys sustainability and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) objectives.
  • Production Support – Provide direct enablement support to production areas to ensure seamless operations.
  • Team Leadership – Lead, develop, and empower the Enablement teams, ensuring they have the capabilities and autonomy needed to achieve objectives.
  • Tool Control – Oversee daily tooling management processes to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
  • LOLER Management – Maintain responsibility for the safe and compliant management of all lifting operations and equipment.
  • FOD & Project Management – Drive Foreign Object Debris (FOD) reduction initiatives and manage related improvement projects.
  • EHS & Airworthiness – Ensure all Enablement activities meet Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Airworthiness standards. Actively promote the Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People (SQCDP) framework to identify, prioritise, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Work Pattern

Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)

Grade and Overtime Premiums

Entitled to paid overtime over 35 hours at a premium rate – 25% Mon‑Fri and 50% Sat‑Sun
20% shift uplift for working shifts
