Job summary

MNK International seeks a Director-level Aviation Placing Broker to grow and lead our aviation re/insurance business in London and overseas. Place complex aviation and space risks with Lloyd's, the London company market and international markets.

You will own a client portfolio, set placing strategy, mentor the team and drive new income while ensuring contract certainty and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in aviation insurance or reinsurance broking with senior London market placing experience.
• Proven producer with a portable aviation client network and overseas partners.
• Strong relationships with lead aviation underwriters at Lloyd's and in the company market.
• Deep knowledge of aviation wordings (AVN clauses) and market practice.
• Experience with MGA, delegated authority or facility business; FCA/Lloyd's regulation awareness.

Responsibilities

• Place direct, facultative and treaty aviation risks across Lloyd's, London market and overseas.
• Lead renewal and new-business negotiations; manage claims advocacy with the claims team.
• Design placing strategies and market presentations to secure best terms and capacity.
• Win new aviation clients and grow the existing book; cross-sell within MNK Group.
• Lead, coach and develop junior brokers and contribute to business plans and pricing.
