Job summary

Morson Edge has an opening for a Maintenance Planner at RAF Shawbury to manage maintenance and materials planning, and to produce line and base maintenance work packs. The role includes reviewing work packs before aircraft departure and updating the MIS as required.

The candidate will liaise with maintenance teams to ensure capacity, enter utilisation data into MIS, and ensure compliance with the approved maintenance programme. 12-month initial contact to start.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and material planning.
• Familiarity with CAMO/airworthiness processes and regulatory references.
• Ability to work methodically and meet strict timelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures to ensure full compliance.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Team and other departments to balance capacity.
• Enter log utilisation data into MIS.
• Review maintenance status against the approved programme.
• Prepare and review maintenance variations.
• Identify provisional maintenance dates based on utilisation.
• Review materials against dates and raise reservations.
• Communicate maintenance dates with owner/operator.
• Coordinate with Airworthiness for ADs, SBs and EO requirements.
• Raise scheduled maintenance work packs with required materials.
