Job summary

Optime is recruiting for Hangar Cleaners at Gatwick Airport. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities, a fast start, and weekly pay. No aviation experience necessary, full training provided, and temp-to-perm potential based on performance.

You will be responsible for cleaning BA aircraft interiors and exteriors, including toilets and galleys, while adhering to aviation safety procedures. The job is physically demanding and requires teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well in a team.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Valid passport / driving licence / birth certificate / national ID.
• UK Settled Status where applicable.
• Proof of National Insurance.
• Proof of current address and 5-year address history.
• 5-year work reference history.
• Criminal record check post interview per CAA requirements.
• Previous airport/cleaning experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the Team Lead with daily hangar projects and tasks.
• Clean interior and exterior of BA aircraft including toilets, seats, floors and galleys.
• Ensure hygiene standards and safety procedures are followed.
• Work at height using proper safety equipment.
• Follow daily schedules and team instructions.
• Be physically fit for long shifts, bending, lifting and time on feet.
• Collaborate with colleagues and BA teams to complete tasks safely and on time.
