Job summary

Optime Group is recruiting Facilities Cleaning Operatives to maintain high standards in the hangar and welfare facilities at London Luton Airport. Prior security experience is not required; full training and background checks are provided.

Role offers on-site work with a 6on 3off pattern and day shifts from 6:00 to 14:00. Temp to Perm and performance-based progression are outlined in the package.

Qualifications

• Adheres to cleaning standards and safety procedures.
• Clear written and spoken English communication.
• Reliable with a proactive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn on safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors across hangar and offices.
• Clean and sanitise welfare facilities (toilets, showers, kitchens).
• Empty bins and manage waste in designated areas.
• Clean desks, workstations and meeting rooms.
• Disinfect surfaces and touchpoints; replenish consumables.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment when needed.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to Supervisor.
• Follow airport, hangar and company health procedures.
