Job summary

Babcock International is seeking a Driver to support RAF Wyton, Cambridgeshire. The role focuses on safe passenger and freight transport, vehicle checks, and strict record-keeping to meet regulatory standards.

The position is full-time, 42 hours weekly, with early and late shifts and weekend rotation every six weeks, on-site at RAF Wyton. You will interact with diverse stakeholders while upholding high safety, compliance, and service levels.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Driver CPC - Certificate of Professional Competence.
• Cat D Licence (desirable).
• Cat D1 Licence (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver passengers, freight, and equipment across the UK.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Complete tachograph records accurately and ensure driver regulations compliance.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness through valeting and routine tasks.
• Follow transport policies and safety requirements while delivering high-quality customer service.
