Job summary

Swissport International AG at Stansted Airport seeks a Cargo Warehouse / Ramp Agent. You will organize warehouse storage, prepare cargo, and operate equipment to load/unload air cargo. You must follow SOPs and safety requirements in a 4 on 4 off 12-hour day shift.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, palletizing, completing paperwork, and complying with Dangerous Goods rules. Prior aviation experience is desirable, and a UK driving licence is required for site duties.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English or able to understand English
• Willingness to travel to Stansted when public transport unavailable
• Able to follow SOPs and safety procedures
• Physically able to lift up to 32kg repeatedly
• Able to work in outdoor conditions and inclement weather

Responsibilities

• Load and unload air cargo onto vehicles and storage areas
• Prepare and palletize cargo as needed
• Ensure paperwork related to cargo is correct
• Operate/drive specialist equipment (fork lift, vans) as required
• Follow Dangerous Goods regulations and SOPs
• Deliver cargo to recipients when required
• Provide live animal handling where needed
• Report equipment malfunctions
• Maintain safety and security standards
