Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking a highly capable Supply Chain Specialist/Asset Manager to support a defence aviation programme in the United Kingdom. You will own aircraft parts and materials planning, manage demand, repairs and deliveries, and ensure supplier performance aligns with mission readiness.

Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and logistics teams, identify risks, drive improvements and mentor junior staff to strengthen the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement or material planning.
• Experience with inventory management, repairs, supplier performance or aerospace components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned aircraft parts and material requirements on a daily basis.
• Process purchase, repair and replenishment requests.
• Prioritise supply demands based on required delivery dates.
• Analyse and resolve supply shortfalls, delays and material shortages.
• Escalate delivery risks and performance issues where required.
• Conduct root cause analysis on missed delivery targets and implement corrective actions.
• Develop alternative sourcing and supply solutions for unavailable components.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and support organisations.
• Lead and participate in supply chain meetings to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
• Mentor junior team members and share supply chain best practice.
• Provide expert guidance on long-term material planning and programme requirements.
• Support operational activities outside standard working hours when required.
