Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong Avaloq background to join our Change & Transformation team in the UK. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and support the configuration of Avaloq-based solutions across Banking and Wealth Management.

You will collaborate with front-office, operations and IT to deliver BRDs, functional specs, and user stories, while guiding UAT and regulatory change initiatives within the Avaloq environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as a BA in Banking/Wealth.
• Avaloq Banking Suite configuration and business rules.
• Wealth Management processes incl. onboarding, KYC, custody.
• BRD, functional specs and user stories (Agile/Waterfall).
• Core banking operations, securities processing, financial products.
• UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Stakeholder management across business and IT.
• UK regulatory knowledge (FCA, MiFID II, Consumer Duty).
• Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Visio, MS Office.
• Degree in Business/Finance/CS; CBAP/BCS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across Wealth Management, Private Banking, and Operations.
• Serve as expert on Avaloq, advising on configuration and best practices.
• Create BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, and user stories.
• Work with Avaloq tools to define and validate designs.
• Coordinate with Avaloq vendor teams and internal developers to implement requirements.
• Support system testing, including test case design, UAT coordination, and defect triage.
• Analyze as-is processes and design to-be processes, identifying automation opportunities.
• Support regulatory changes within Avaloq (MiFID II, SMCR, Consumer Duty).
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews; document findings for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist project managers with planning, RAID logs, and status reporting.
