Job summary

Lumeg Recruitment in Reading is seeking an AV Technical Project Manager to lead the Operations Department and act as the technical figurehead for project delivery.

You will oversee multiple projects, coordinate engineers, and ensure SLAs and margins are maintained while staying current on AV products and services.

Qualifications

• Must have strong technical design and checking capabilities.
• Deep understanding of the company’s AV products and services.
• Ability to attend supplier trainings and achieve accreditations.

The role of the Technical Project Manager to be a leader within the Operations Department.

He/she are the strongest technical figure head within the team.

He/she manages and strengthens the delivery of all projects within the business and executes the companys core values at all times.

9am - 5.30pm - Full time on site

The Team:

My clients Operations Department team are responsible for all online delivery form various online stores, all service contracts with their premier customers and execution and excellent delivery of all projects from site surveys to multiple phase/week installations with their own engineers and sub-contract engineers.

Must Haves:

• Solution Design/Technical check.
• Display a high technical understanding of all the companies products and services.
• May attend supplier and vendor training sessions to ensure up to date on all technology and products.
• Where required become certified on supplier/manufacturer accreditations to bolster the companies standing within that supplier/manufacturer.
• Identify GAPs in knowledge and work with Managing Director to plug these gaps.
• Manage projects with an administrative team to a high standard, excellent customer service, quality on site and protection of margins.
• As an estimate my client has around 30 projects per month with several of these being large 100k plus.
• Ensure service contract standards and SLA are adhered to and the service manager is covering all logs.
• Manage all engineers in house and external and the appropriate insurances, vehicles and PPE when required.
• Be able to demonstrate an understanding of all company products, services and business processes as well as having a high level of technical knowledge to deliver solutions accurately.
• Manage margins/budgets of each project.
• Ensure quality of equipment, cables, quotes and engineers adhere to the companys AV standard.
• Alongside the administrators, organise and deliver all projects to their standard.
• Technical specification of all jobs, cables schedules and drawings where required.
• Ensure all R & M and training are kept up to date.
• Overall management of service contracts alongside a designated engineer.
• Demonstrate pro-active behaviour in driving repeat business through quality work and customer delight.
• Display a high technical understanding of all the companies products and services.
