Overview

AV Project Manager - Remote

We are looking for an organised and motivated AV Project Manager to support the successful delivery of audio-visual installation projects from planning through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in AV coordination or technical delivery who is ready to step up into a full project management role within a growing, trade-only AV integration business.

You'll be responsible for coordinating teams, managing schedules, liaising with clients, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support & Coordination: Assist with project planning, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Team & Resource Management: Coordinate AV engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Client Communication: Act as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving on-site issues promptly.
  • Installation Oversight: Support and oversee the installation and commissioning of AV systems to meet design specifications.
  • Budget & Procurement Support: Help manage project costs, process orders, and liaise with suppliers and vendors.
  • Quality Control: Monitor project progress, conduct basic inspections, and ensure work meets company standards.
  • Reporting & Handover: Maintain accurate project records and assist with client handovers and post-install support.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience: 2-4 years in AV project coordination, technical support, or a similar role within the AV or technology sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of AV systems, including displays, control systems (Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS), and conferencing technologies.
  • Organisation & Communication: Strong time management, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Certifications: CTS, PRINCE2 Foundation, or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
  • Attitude: Proactive, solutions-focused, and eager to develop within the AV project management field.
Working Conditions
  • Regular travel to client sites and project locations.
  • Flexible working hours to meet project milestones.
  • Hands-on involvement with AV equipment when required.

Reports to: Operations Manager / Senior Project Manager

Direct Reports: AV Engineers, Technicians, and Subcontractors (as assigned)
