Job summary

Henderson Scott Limited in Chippenham is seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join a nationally recognised Private Client department. Hybrid working with 40% from home, you will handle wills, probate and tax planning while developing client relationships and mentoring junior lawyers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Private Client background, a track record of meeting targets, and a willingness to pursue STEP accreditation.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Private Client law.
• Experience managing an independent Private Client caseload.
• STEP membership or pursuing accreditation would be advantageous.
• Strong client care and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Private Client caseload including wills, probate, LPAs.
• Provide clear, expert and practical advice to clients with autonomy.
• Develop strong and lasting client relationships and contribute to BD.
• Mentor junior members of the team and support growth of the department.
