Job summary

Taurus Healthcare Limited in Hereford is recruiting experienced Advanced Practitioners to join our Out of Hours service on a part-time basis with 0 hours casual options. You will perform telephone triage, face-to-face assessments, and home visits, prescribing within guidelines, supported by GPs and a multidisciplinary team across Herefordshire.

Applicants must hold the right to work in the UK, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Advanced practitioners capable of autonomous urgent care assessment.
• Autonomous practice in urgent care settings.
• Experience in triage, diagnosis and prescribing within local pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment for urgent care patients.
• Prescribe medications and manage complex presentations with safety and oversight.
• Lead and mentor junior staff within the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses, paramedics and operational teams to ensure timely care.
• Support service development and quality improvement initiatives.
