Job summary

Forward Role is seeking an SEO Manager in Manchester City Centre with hybrid working and a salary up to £40k. You’ll own a portfolio of SEO clients across Ecommerce, Retail and B2B, developing and delivering strategies end-to-end while hands-on across on-page, content, UX and technical SEO.

You’ll run client calls, discuss results, spot opportunities via data, and explore AI Search and emerging channels. Expect ~3+ years’ agency SEO experience, autonomy, and a proactive, organised approach.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years’ SEO experience, ideally agency-side.
• A strong SEO all-rounder—you don’t need to be super technical.
• Comfortable managing clients and taking ownership of accounts.
• Good understanding of GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs and Screaming Frog.
• Proactive, organised and happy working autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a varied portfolio of SEO clients across Ecommerce, Retail and B2B.
• Develop and deliver SEO strategies from start to finish.
• Get hands-on across on-page, content, UX and technical SEO.
• Run client calls and confidently talk through results and recommendations.
• Use data to spot opportunities and improve performance.
• Explore new opportunities across AI Search and emerging channels.
