Job summary

Brentford Group Practice is seeking a Salaried GP to join two partners and three salaried GPs serving about 8,100 patients. The role focuses on online triage, face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits and signing off electronic prescriptions.

The post involves a four-session rota across Tuesday and Thursday within an active primary care network, with opportunities to contribute to clinical governance and leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have GMC registration and eligibility to practise independently in the UK.
• Experience of working in a primary care environment.
• Experience with QOF and clinical audit is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to the practice population to a high standard as an autonomous practitioner under GMC standards.
• Carry out online triage and advice, and conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations.
• Perform home visits and sign off electronic prescriptions with appropriate prescribing.
• Check results, scan documents and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Deliver services under the GMS contract and manage long-term conditions.
• Process referrals and repeat prescriptions in a timely manner.
• Participate in rotation as duty doctor and share workload evenly.
• Contribute to audits, significant event reviews and clinical governance.
• Support appraisal, revalidation and provide leadership and education for the team.
