Qualifications

• Registered nurse, paramedic, or allied health professional with non-medical prescribing qualification.
• Demonstrate a wide knowledge base in clinical practice.
• Understanding of emergency care pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients.
• Accurately triage and prioritize all patients.
• Support Care Coordination Service from head office.

Skills

Ability to work autonomously both in-hours and out of hours

Training and experience of physical assessment and clinical reasoning

At least 2 years worth of prescribing experience

Education

Registered nurse, paramedic, or another allied health professional

MSc in Advanced Practice (achieved or working towards)

Completion of a clinical reasoning module
