Job summary

Sandy Health centre is seeking a paramedic practitioner to provide specialist clinical resource for our patients, collaborating with clinicians and the multidisciplinary team within the practice.

In this autonomous role you will assess, diagnose and treat, using current clinical skills, and you will refer or direct to other services as needed, while promoting self-care to empower patients in making informed choices about their care.

Qualifications

• Registered Paramedic with HCPC registration, eligible to practise in the UK.
• Independent Non-Medical Prescribing qualification required.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Current UK professional registration and DBS clearance.
• UK Registration and NHS employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Practice as an emergency care practitioner with autonomous decision-making.
• Assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients in surgery or community.
• Utilise up-to-date clinical skills and PGDs where appropriate.
• Supply, administer and prescribe medicines per policy.
• Promote self-care and empower patients to informed choices.
