Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for flexible sessional work across primary care clinic settings in Ledbury. This role offers autonomous NP-led clinics, minor illness assessments and routine primary care duties within well-supported GP clinics.

You will support local primary care teams by managing acute presentations, carrying out routine assessments and contributing to day-to-day clinical operations. Flexible shifts and ad-hoc or ongoing bookings are available.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Strong minor illness and clinical assessment skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS Web or SystmOne; Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous NP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing minor illness and undifferentiated presentations.
• Conducting face-to-face and telephone triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of practice (if qualified).
• Completing clinical follow-up actions including results and medication queries.
• Maintaining accurate digital clinical documentation.
