Job summary

Locums First in Frodsham is seeking Locum Nurse Practitioners to deliver autonomous NP clinics across community health settings and GP-based services in the area. The role offers fully flexible local sessions with options across weekdays, evenings, and weekends, emphasizing varied working patterns and ongoing bookings.

You will run NP-led clinics, manage minor illness, support triage, and perform routine nursing tasks.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community health.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous NP clinics across community and GP environments
• Manage acute presentations and routine assessments
• Support urgent care demand with telephone triage
• Prescribe safely within scope (if qualified)
• Review investigations and complete follow-up actions
• Document clearly and accurately within service clinical systems
• Assisting clinicians with general clinical duties where required
