Job summary

Pennard Vets in Sevenoaks is seeking an Out-of-Hours Vet to join our purpose-built hospital, offering genuine clinical autonomy after-hours with top-notch facilities and a supportive team.

Salary £70,000 per annum DOE. Rota consists of 9 shifts across 4 weeks, including overnights and full weekend day shifts. The site features access to shared on-site specialists during the day and unlimited CPD with approval, with RCVS + VDS fees covered.

Responsibilities

• Work independently, holding the fort overnight and at weekends with support from an on-site team.
• Provide night and weekend on-call veterinary care while maintaining case continuity.
• Collaborate with RCVS-recognised specialists on-site during the day via the shared site with South East Veterinary Referrals.
• Ensure smooth handovers to the day team to prevent loss of information overnight.
