Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an autonomous Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work at a GP practice in Doncaster. You will independently assess, diagnose and manage presentations, delivering evidence-based care with support from a multidisciplinary team.

The role offers flexible sessional work with morning and afternoon clinics, up to 4 days per week, in a well-organised primary care setting. You will work autonomously while collaborating with GPs and practice staff.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate) required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing is essential.
• Recent experience in primary/urgent care settings preferred.
• DBS enhanced disclosure is required.

Responsibilities

• Run minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Conduct long-term condition reviews.
• Perform telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Order and interpret investigations.
• Provide accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.
