Job summary

Wayve is seeking a Solution Architect in London to drive the integration of autonomy software with OEM vehicle platforms. You will define interfaces, performance, and safety requirements, working across Product, Software, Hardware, and Validation teams.

The role demands translating customer discussions into concrete technical specs, coordinating with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, and documenting architecture decisions for scalable deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience defining technical architecture for ADAS or vehicle systems.
• Ability to define clear ownership, interfaces, and validation requirements.
• Good understanding of vehicle electronics and ECU integration.
• Knowledge of CAN, Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, AUTOSAR or equivalent.
• Experience with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers and their constraints.
• Translate product needs into technical specifications and validation criteria.
• Ability to work across Product, Software, Hardware, and Validation teams.
• Strong written and verbal technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the technical architecture for customer vehicle integration.
• Translate product requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Document integration boundaries, ownership, and interface contracts.
• Convert discussions into explicit decisions, dependencies and risks.
• Collaborate with Software Architects to assess feasibility and alignment.
• Develop program-wide technical documentation and integration guides.
• Support planning by identifying risks and required deliverables.
• Represent Wayve in OEM/Tier 1 technical discussions.
• Bridge customer programs and Wayve teams without fragmenting core architecture.
