Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to provide flexible regional primary care sessions across Camelford. You will run autonomous ANP-led clinics in established primary care settings with full clinical autonomy and a consistent working environment.

You will perform advanced assessments, triage, manage acute and minor illness, and prescribe within competence. DBS clearance and Independent Prescribing (V300) are required; strong diagnostic reasoning and communication

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300).
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in new environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems.
