Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver flexible regional primary care sessions across Addlestone. You will run autonomous ANP-led clinics within established GP and community services, with full clinical autonomy in a consistent working environment.

The role focuses on advanced assessments, managing same-day presentations, triage by phone and in person, and safe prescribing within your scope. Flexible weekday, evening or weekend bookings are available.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300).
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems
