Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner for flexible regional primary care sessions across Burford. You will deliver advanced assessments and manage same-day presentations within GP and community services, maintaining autonomy while ensuring consistent working environments.

This role offers fully flexible, sessional work across clinics with clear pathways and safe workflow. Prior ANP experience and independent prescribing are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification required.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings is essential.
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills.
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Run autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conduct telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Review results and handle routine follow-up actions.
• Record accurate clinical notes within clinic systems.
