Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics across Uttoxeter. You will provide advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations and support routine patient demand within well-supported GP and community services, with full clinical autonomy in a consistent working environment.

Each clinic offers clear pathways and a safe, efficient workflow. You will maintain accurate notes, triage by phone and face-to-face, and prescribe safely

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification.
• Independent Prescribing (V300).
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care.
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence.
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions.
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems.
