Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner for flexible regional primary care sessions across Wantage. This role offers autonomy over clinical practice within established primary care clinics while maintaining consistency in working environment.

You will deliver advanced assessments, manage same-day presentations and support routine patient demand within GP and community services, with clear care pathways and safe workflow.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Practice qualification
• Independent Prescribing (V300)
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community settings
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and communication skills
• Confidence working autonomously in new environments
• Enhanced DBS clearance

Responsibilities

• Running autonomous ANP-led clinics within primary care settings
• Managing acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations
• Conducting telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Reviewing results and handling routine follow-up actions
• Recording accurate clinical notes within the clinic’s digital systems
