Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner for flexible sessional work across primary care and regional care centre services in Goodwick, Wales. This role suits ACPs confident in autonomous assessments, managing diverse clinical presentations and supporting streamlined patient flow across local health services.

You will work within structured clinical environments with clear pathways and supervision.

Qualifications

• Level 7 ACP qualification required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science or similar.
• Independent Prescribing desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or community health.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Run independent ACP-led clinics across care centre and GP services.
• Assess acute, undifferentiated and routine presentations.
• Provide telephone and on-site triage during peak demand.
• Prescribe and initiate treatment where qualified.
• Complete routine clinical actions including results, reviews and referrals.
• Document accurately in digital clinical systems.
