Job summary

Halfords National Tyres and Autocare seeks an Assistant Manager to work with the Centre Manager, driving profitability while ensuring excellent customer service in a busy workshop environment.

You will split time between the workshop and sales floor, coaching colleagues and maintaining high standards in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and safety. A Level 2/3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through effective management and leadership.
• Experience in coaching, training and developing colleagues in the moment.
• Level 2/3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Centre Manager to drive profitability.
• Balance workshop activity with customer service and sales.
• Coach and develop team members in real time.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in the workshop.
