We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Automotive Technical Procurement Specialist to join our innovative team and play a pivotal role in sourcing and securing high-quality components for our cutting-edge vehicle production. You will work closely with our Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of components that meet our exacting quality and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select new and innovative suppliers capable of meeting our technical specifications and quality standards.
• Negotiation & Cost Management: Lead contract negotiations and price agreements with suppliers to achieve the best value for money while balancing quality, volume, and timing constraints.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with new and existing suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and drive performance improvement activities.
• Technical Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, etc.) to review new component designs, coordinate technical reviews, and ensure supplier alignment with project requirements.
• Risk Management: Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks or disruptions.
• Process Efficiency: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders to monitoring delivery schedules and resolving invoice discrepancies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience in a technical purchasing or procurement role within an automotive or manufacturing/engineering environment is essential.
• Strong understanding of automotive processes, components, and materials (e.g., metallics, composites, electrical components).
• Ability to read and interpret CAD files, technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
