Job summary

Bennetts is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support the efficient handling, storage and dispatch of automotive parts across a busy UK network. You will pick, pack and prepare orders, receive deliveries, check against purchase orders, and maintain a tidy, safe warehouse.

The role rewards a proactive team player with good attention to detail and reliable attendance. Hours are Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays, and full UK driving licence is desirable for deliveries.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare parts for delivery or collection.
• Receive deliveries and verify against purchase orders.
• Maintain organised warehouse and stock records.
• Load and unload delivery vans safely.
• Support stock checks and inventory control.
• Report stock discrepancies or damaged items.
• Assist delivery drivers with loading and route preparation.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Provide support to parts counter or customer service when needed.
