Job summary

Bennetts is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join its team in the UK. You will handle, store, and dispatch automotive parts, ensuring orders are accurate and dispatched on time. The role is office-based in a busy warehouse with standard hours and occasional Saturday shifts.

Key duties include picking and packing, receiving deliveries, stock checks, and helping with loading for deliveries. A positive, proactive attitude and basic IT or scanner skills are helpful for day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/logistics experience is welcome but not required.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare automotive parts for delivery or collection.
• Receive deliveries and check against purchase orders.
• Store parts and maintain a tidy, organised warehouse.
• Load and unload delivery vans safely and efficiently.
• Assist with stock checks and inventory control.
• Report stock discrepancies or damaged items.
• Support delivery drivers with loading and route preparation.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Provide occasional support to parts counter or customer service as needed.
