Job summary

Jago Consultants is recruiting on behalf of an established automotive parts company for a Trade Parts Development Executive in Reading. You will focus on developing trade parts sales, presenting solutions to customers and building lasting relationships.

The role emphasises business development within the automotive sector, maintaining product knowledge, managing the sales cycle, and contributing to growth plans with regular reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales preferred.
• Automotive industry experience is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and use a planned sales presentation, to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities, including customer greeting, qualifying, handling objectives, product presentation, demonstrations and effective closing.
• Maintain and Develop customer database
• Create additional sales opportunities for repeat or new business.
• Contribute to the achievement of maximum customer retention through effective representation.
• Develop and submit a weekly and monthly journey plan.
• Develop and maintain full knowledge of all products, prices and key competitors.
• Produce reports on all business sales activities including follow-up, prospecting, sales presentations, new clients etc, to ensure accurate sales forecasts.
• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all reports and paperwork.
• Assist in the development of strategy to increase business in accordance with Business/Growth plan.
