Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking an experienced Paint Technician to join a professional accident repair centre. You will prepare, paint and refinish accident-damaged vehicles to a high standard within a modern bodyshop, working Monday to Friday with no weekends.

The role offers up to £45,000 OTE depending on experience, with ongoing training, career progression and recognition for high-quality finishes.

Qualifications

• Experience with modern paint systems, colour matching and refinishing techniques.
• Ability to prepare vehicles for paint to a high standard.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels for painting including masking and priming.
• Mix and apply paint according to manufacturer specs.
• Carry out full and partial resprays, colour matching and refinishing.
• Inspect finished paintwork and rectify defects.
• Maintain paint equipment and workshop cleanliness.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
