Apex Recruitment is seeking a Paint Sprayer in Woking to join a production team for high-performance vehicles, working on very low volume, specialist cars. The role involves painting to exacting standards and may include shifts and weekend work to meet production demands.

The ideal candidate has automotive paint spraying experience and a keen eye for detail. A foundation in engineering or related manufacturing experience is advantageous, with a strong emphasis on quality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Automotive paint spraying experience is highly desirable.
• Foundation in engineering or experience in automotive/manufacturing is advantageous.
• Experience in composite lay-up, repair, diagnostics, or mechanical vehicle repair is beneficial.
• Quality-focused with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow detailed work instructions for painting vehicles.
• Ensure all station operations on each vehicle meet quality standards and timescales.
• Work as part of a team to address issues affecting quality, cost, or productivity.
• Keep the work area clean, tidy and safe in line with brand expectations.
• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in safety activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities as requested.
