Job summary

Affluent Technology Limited is seeking a Lighting Validation Engineer to support development, integration, and validation of advanced vehicle lighting systems throughout the product lifecycle. You will ensure performance, quality, cost, and regulatory targets are met.

The role involves coordinating validation plans, DVP&Rs, and cross-functional collaboration across design, software, systems, manufacturing, and supplier teams to drive robust lighting solutions to production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in automotive product development, validation, or testing.
• Knowledge of lighting technologies, CAN/LIN diagnostics, and failure investigation.
• Strong technical, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end product development of exterior and interior lighting systems.
• Develop and execute validation plans, DVP&R, and system-level test activities.
• Conduct vehicle, laboratory, and environmental testing.
• Analyse test results and lead technical issue resolution using structured problem-solving methods.
• Collaborate with design, software, systems, manufacturing, quality, and supplier teams.
• Ensure compliance with customer, quality, and regulatory requirements.
