Job summary

Fife College in Scotland is seeking an inspirational educator to join the Manufacturing, Automotive & Fabrication & Welding team. You will deliver learning and teaching across a range of learners and settings, focusing on Automotive Engineering, and help evaluate curriculum effectiveness.

You will work with colleagues to drive continuous improvement, maintain accurate attendance and achievement records, and support the Academic and Quality Manager in meeting regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Qualified to HND/Degree (SCQF 8/9) or SVQ Level 4/5 in the relevant vocational area.
• Relevant current academic experience.
• Driving Licence as travel will be required within Fife.
• Desirable: Teaching Qualification in Further Education (TQFE).
• Broad demonstrable experience of curriculum delivery.
• Proven record of evaluative ability, to recognise areas for improvement and plan for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Learning and Teaching activities to a broad range of learners and in a variety of educational settings.
• Primarily teach candidates in subject area of Automotive Engineering.
• Evaluate and improve teaching methods and curriculum effectiveness.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance team performance and curriculum quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and achievement.
