Qualifications

  • High school diploma and auto electrical qualification certificate or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience as an Electrical Technician.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Complex problem-solving skills and ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Must have own electrical tools: Multi-meter, a good range of crimping tools, socket set, electrical screwdrivers, and trim tools.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical installations of lights, lamps, and beacons.
  • Fitting and testing of reverse sensors and alarms.
  • Wiring and fitting electrics to install tow bars.
  • Fitting and installing wiring looms.
  • Modifying electrical circuits, loom building, and installation.
  • Diagnosing faults and rectifying them.
  • Removing and refitting trim and components to the vehicle.
