Job description

I’m currently working with an organisation that is looking to add an Automation Test Analyst to its growing QA function. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tester who enjoys automation and wants to work across UI, API and performance testing within a collaborative development environment.

Location: Bath

Working pattern: Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 from home

What they're looking for:

Around 4-5+ years' experience within software testing
Experience testing web-based applications
Experience with UI and/or API automation
Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, or similar technologies
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger or equivalent
Good understanding of test planning, test design and requirements
Strong SQL skills, ideally including SQL Server
Understanding of the full software development and testing lifecycle
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
A proactive approach and willingness to learn new technologies
Previous experience within financial services or another regulated environment
Exposure to tools such as Jira or Confluence
Experience with dedicated test management platforms
Experience integrating automated tests with wider development or reporting tools
Relevant degree or technical qualification
