VIQU IT Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer for a 6-month contract in Manchester. You will focus on automation and IaC using Ansible and Terraform to modernize enterprise networks.

The role requires strong Cisco networking experience (Nexus switches, ACI) and knowledge of F5 load balancing (LTM/DNS), routing, switching and network security. SC clearance preferred and collaboration with Security and Platform teams is essential.

Formación

• SC Clearance preferred
• Strong automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform
• Strong Cisco networking experience, particularly Nexus switching and ACI
• Experience with F5 load balancing technologies (LTM/DNS)
• Strong understanding of routing, switching and network security
• Experience automating configuration, testing and network validation
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting business-critical infrastructure

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain network automation using Ansible and Terraform.
• Automate network configuration, patching, pre/post-change testing.
• Support and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure, including Nexus and ACI.
• Maintain and enhance F5 load balancing and network security platforms.
• Support routing, switching, firewalls and critical network services.
• Investigate complex incidents and contribute to infrastructure projects and service improvements.
• Work with Network, Security and Platform teams to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
