A leading postal service provider is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician for their Bristol Mail Centre. This full-time role offers a salary of over £56,000 per annum, plus benefits. Candidates must have qualifications in electrical and mechanical engineering and experience with automation equipment. The successful candidate will support maintenance activities and ensure optimal performance of automation assets, requiring flexibility for shift patterns.
We are now recruiting for Automation Maintenance Technician at our Bristol Mail Centre, Filton, Bristol, BS34 7ST site.
In this role your potential earning will be over £56,000 per annum.
Salary: £53,195 per annum, plus night shift allowance, 22.5 days annual leave with bank holidays and a defined contribution pension scheme. A weekend supplement for Saturday (£53.14 per attendance) and Sunday (£106.28 per attendance) shift attendance is applicable.
The successful candidate will be required to follow the Bristol Mail Centre shift rotation system, with some degree of voluntary flexibility to meet our 24/7 operational needs on occasion, including voluntary overtime coverage and occasional shift pattern flexibility. The role will cover early, late and night shifts.
Shift attendance equates to 40 hours per week (excluding meal breaks) - Full time, working 12 hour shifts (7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am). Weekend working will be required as part of the rota.
As an experienced multi-skilled engineer you'll be qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 - or equivalent). Understanding Health & Safety legislation, you'll have first-hand experience of maintaining automation equipment with a flexible approach and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
You are required to have a full UK driving licence as on occasion you may be asked to travel to other sites.
