Automation Engineer with Robotics & 3D Geometry

Cambridge UK (near station) – Lab based mainly on site

366pd to umbrella Inside IR35 (net approx 1k take‑home per week / 70k annual salary equivalent)

Contract: 8 months, inside IR35 – must have the right to work in the UK.

Automation Engineer with Robotics & 3D Geometry – looking for a highly motivated engineer with expertise in developing autonomous robotic solutions and 3D geometry. You will need exceptional software engineering skills and a Masters Degree in engineering, with approximately 3+ years of industry experience in software or robotics.

Working in a data capture and validation lab in the R&D office in Cambridge, UK.

You will work side by side with ML algorithm teams to create automated processes that validate new features for products. This work will be hands‑on, involving robotic, camera and lighting equipment. Candidates should have experience with robotics or 3D geometrical problems, exceptional software skills, and an interest in machine learning, computer vision or software QA. This is a full‑time position; candidates must be able to work from the Cambridge office the majority of the time.
